I have checked the locations and the opening times with Grandma Pollard`s grandson but forgot to ask about the origin of the cooking material :¬) Walsden station is immediately opposite the chippy and after purchase there is the single decker bus to eat in or a picnic area by the canal behind the shop. After that Gordon Rigg`s garden centre is 1/2 mile down the road, walkable if the weather is fine but bus stops outside the chippy and the garden centre if the weather is inclement. Ivan
